Just another morning delivering breakfast to prisoners.
As per usual, Ed Chao whistles while he works, because the Kelowna is the Ship O' Fun. Everybody's happy aboard the Kelowna. Even the prisoners, because they know that good old Ed is just a cog in the machine that takes care of them.
Simon Tam's cell is at the end of the hall. Chao is under orders to get information out of him. And really...if he didn't stop in to pass the time of day, that'd be weird, wouldn't it?
Yep. Weird. Because he's Ed Chao. He's a nice guy. He does his job well. And his boss said it himself -- he's supposed to try to get information out of this particular prisoner. Yep.
He balances the tray in one hand -- could work at the Sans Souci, could Ed Chao -- and opens the door to Tam's cell with the other. "Rise and shine, Dr. Tam, and partake of the bounty."
